I loved the chic decor and the historical integrity of the hotel. The stately and luxurious atmosphere was impressive. The location was very convenient, with many landmarks within walking distance. The staff was polite and helpful, especially Kara at the front desk. The room was spacious and comfortable, with unique touches like animal print bathrobes and a bust of Thomas Jefferson.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable, giving us a wonderful night's sleep. The robes provided added a touch of luxury to our stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail, with full-size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided in the room. The hotel's location was perfect for us, as it was close to all the main tourist attractions and conveniently located near a station for easy transportation. We enjoyed exploring the nearby restaurants and shops. The decor of this period building was stunning, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The wine hour was a great opportunity to socialize and unwind. everything about our stay was spot on.

I had a fantastic stay in this historic hotel. The location was perfect, directly across the road from the stadium and near everything I wanted to see in the city. It was ideal for walking to major attractions, allowing me to maximize my time in the District. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel facilities were excellent, and I especially enjoyed the beautiful decor and comfortable lobby with a fireplace. Additionally, the hotel provided hot tea in the afternoon, which was a welcome treat on a chilly day.

The location of this hotel was perfect for my needs. It was within walking distance to major museums and monuments in this city. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities were top-notch. The furnishings throughout the building were eclectic, colorful, and beautiful. I particularly loved the morning newspapers and the tea/coffee offered in the lounge each morning. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and they were very understanding of my nervous pup who traveled with me.
