I had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The room was amazing, with a high-end old school feel of class. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were fantastic. The location was perfect, being in a good central location and extremely close to the airport. The transportation options were convenient, with public transportation just around the corner. Back in time, to when grand hotels had a personality and splendor, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations.

The staff was exceptional - helpful, obliging, and courteous. The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable. The location was great, with easy access to transportation.

I absolutely loved the bed and pillows; they were so comfortable. The hotel staff were also very considerate, turning down the bed while I was at dinner, with soft music playing. The room was nicely decorated, although on the smaller side. This hotel really gave off a glamorous 60's vibe, making me feel like I was transported to a more elegant era. Another great aspect is that the hotel has managed to maintain its rich history while still providing all the modern conveniences one could desire. The location is perfect, with many downtown attractions like the Gaslamp Quarter within walking distance.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The breakfast was delicious with generous portions. The staff at the hotel, including the check-in staff and concierge, were efficient and friendly. The location in the Gaslamp Quarter was perfect, just away from the hectic areas but still close to the San Diego Gaslamp area.
Not one thing.
The beds were so comfortable! The room was clean and quiet. We loved the complimentary water and big towel. The soaking tub was a wonderful addition to our stay. The hotel had top-quality bed linens, room decorations, bath amenities, shower, towels, and in-room coffee service. The location was fabulous, with easy access to all points of interest in this city and Mexico. The lobby was welcoming and historical, with a nice touch of complimentary coffee service. The valets were professional, kind, and mannered, reflecting excellent service from the staff. The hotel itself was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciated the afternoon lemonade refreshments and morning coffee in the lobby, as well as the complimentary bottles of water in the room. One night, they even surprised us with water and chocolate in our room.
